Civ.ac brings together creatives, citizens, builders, entrepreneurs, civic organizations, values-aligned companies, nonprofits, academia/researchers, and people working in public service to connect, learn, and take action to protect and strengthen democracy for current and future generations.
Democracy is our most precious commons.
We’re bringing people together from across the political spectrum to celebrate our shared values and our shared past, and co-create our shared future. Even though there are some things we might disagree on, there is far more that we do agree on, and first on that list is protecting and strengthening our democracy.

An in‑person gathering in San Francisco bringing together creatives, concerned citizens, entrepreneurs, builders, and public servants to connect, make sense of the moment, and develop proactive plans to protect and strengthen our democracy.

We’ll be announcing additional activities soon, including a Democracy Hackathon, Democracy Incubator, citizen‑led debates, citizen assemblies, and more. Time is of the essence. Now is the time to act.
